Default Drinking and eating question

Was wondering is the reason you shouldn't drink when you eat is because it stretches out your pouch or because it flushes your food out.....or BOTH?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Because it flushes the food out and prevents you from getting the full feeling, and brings on hunger faster.

Thank you Doc and thank you Lisa for your posts

I felt physically exhausted this morning...drained! I haven't been able to sleep through the entire night since I got home from the hospital. I sleep 2-3 hours and get up. Yesterday, I purposefully stayed up all day in hopes that I will sleep all night long. I went to bed at 10PM and woke up at 3am <sigh>

I am very careful about getting in all my protein....I am taking all my vitamins and supplements.

I am eating every 5 hours (my surgeon's suggestion). I don't feel hungry and have to force myself to eat. I see my surgeon tomorrow so maybe he can help with this lack of energy.

Even though I didn't feel up to it, I did walk 1 mile this morning and I must admit although I feel better, I still feel pretty tired. I am sure it is just my body recooping from losing 25.5 pounds in 2 weeks.

Anyways, Lisa I will PM you my number

Tonite is my first post op support group meeting so maybe they can help. I am looking forward to it.

its very normal to be tired....your body is still doing alot of healing but your not sleeping well which is adding to your tireds im sure.

ARE you takeing all your vitamins that your surgeon requires.

POST op i was takeing chewable centrums, tums, biotin for my hair growth, and eventually had to add b12 and b complexs to my mix but
further out.
I wonder if you should phone your doctor he may suggest a b12 shot to help you thru. We tend to have issues post op with B many of us.

GOOD LUCK!
feel well
but its hard to say you may be feeling tired from not getting great nights rest its hard to be sure!
