Question Sugar Alcohols

Has anyone gotten any info on whether or not we can have sugar alcohols such as what's in SF candy (mannitol, etc)? I would love to have one of those SF York peppermint patties!!

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Sugar alcohols are fine, but some people do get intolerant to them.
So, give them a try and see.
However, since sugar alcohols are used as sweetners, beware of getting used to their taste.

I have no problems with sugar alcohols. But I will warn you many do react to them as a they would react to a laxative. Also sugar alcohols seem to make you crave more sweets. One here or there occasionally would be fine, just don't over do it!

FOR me they are the lexative effect and for me products with that in it trigger me to crave to eat more and more.
SOMETHING i battle all the time.
SO i dont use products with them often
mostly if i need a bowl boost! AND not even then
cause the calories and fats tend to be increased on
products like this...so read the label clearly.
YOU dont need to get wasted calories in that
may cause you stalls without knowing why!
hugs

Sugar alcohol can cause dumping just as sugar does.

I am able to tolerate sugar alcohols in very small amounts. In general i try to stay away from them. But as with anything else in moderation usually can be ok. The only way to know is to try for yoruself unfortunatly....we all tolerate different. Good luck
