Question Ok, a question for the future...

Any one that has had abdominoplasty/penniculectomy, have you been able to get your insurance to pay for it post gastric bypass?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Basically, you can't get it for bypass alone. However, if you develop other issues, like hernia, then if the TT is needed to treat the condition, insurance will consider that.

Check out this thread.

I have a friend that had gastric bypass and then had skin rashes and irritations and got it approved as well.
BUT it had to be documented thru many doctor visits and treatments first.
FIRST by her PCP then by a dermotologist.....and last resort skin removal
procedures.
