Default Female QUESTION

I HAD MY SURGERY ON MARCH 14TH....I WAS MENSTRATING AT THE TIME OF SURGERY NOW IT IS APRIL 16TH AND I HAVEN'T GOTTEN MY PERIOD YET. I KNOW THAT THERE IS NO WAY THAT I AM PREGNANT. MY QUESTION IS DID ANY OF YOU LADIES HAVE ABNORMAL MENSTRATION AFTER SURGERY? OR WERE LATE AFTER SURGERY?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Yup, it happens all the time.
As a matter of fact, someone posted the exact same problem not too long ago. I don't remember exactly where, though.
There was another Q thread for the gals a while back relating to the cycles. This may give you an insight on what's going on.
Anyway, your hormones are going wonkers right now, so you are probably going to be surprised by the regularity/irregularity.

yeah from what i hear rapid weight loss will create HAVOC on our cycles.
FOR Me i always was the irregular type so for me the weight loss brings me regular and im actually to regualr now having it every 21 days and this blows im always PMSing .....
but what i hear is gals that are regular will experience irregular cycles!
JUST be sure to use protection we are very fertile at this time and u dont
want an unexpected pregnancy to come before you rid your weight.
HUGS

Let me first state that the reason that i got this form of Birthcontrol is due to my high blood pressure and many doctors will not proscibe birth control to people with high blood pressure. The Paraguard IUD does not. So that is what i got.

to answer you friendly You can have this IUD removed at any time within that ten years if you are wanting to get pregnant.

I have not children and i don't know what it feels like but the IUD was enough for me god bless ya'll and i will be leaveing mine in for a long time

I have been told that there is no sizeing or anything when you are loseing the wait i would asume because your uteris and your crevix are not loseing the wait but im not a doctor just a hair stylist.

My best friend though had the surgry almost 3 years ago and she has had Parguard the hole time with out haveing to have any thing change so my answer to this question would be nope it does not have to be re fitted.

I made my doctor aware the i was have the surgery done also and he did not mention anything and he explains thing very well in depth so i really donot think so.

Stacy,

Well with my own experience I actually got my dear freind the very next day after my surgery, oh fun!!!
After that I went 60 days, 30 days, another 60 or so days. etc. It just went a little bonker for about 6 months and then all of the sudden it was 28 to 33 days every month after., back to normal.
I have also noticed that I do not get cramps anymoore but the flow is worse. I thnk I WOULD RATHER HAVE THE CRAMPS...HEHEHE. But my age might have something to do with that part...hehehe.

Hope that helps you a little.,

robbin
