Default I knew it wouldn't take long before I had a ??

Ok, I had my RNY last Monday. Everything went very well, and I even came home the following day. But the past couple of days, I've noticed like a "pinching" sensation on my left, lower side of my stomach area. And it is not by an incession spot. I feel it when I scrunch my belly too much, such as bending over and picking up something from the floor. I don't consider this as "pain" but it is a discomfort. And it seems that the pinching sensation get a little stronger each day. I have my follow up Tuesday, and can call them tomorrow, but I wanted to know if anyone had this sensation and if it was normal. Thanks in advance!!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Welcome back, congratulations on joining the Loser's Bench.

Sounds normal. If it gets very bad, or you get a "hot" sensation where the pain is, you may need to worry, but at the moment, it sounds like part of the normal healing process.

(((((HUG))))) welcome to the loosers side!
AND im glad to hear your surgery went off well !!!!

I would take it easy on that bending and picking up as your still healing on the inside even though you feel fine....YOU dont want to get a hernia while
things heal inside. I would monitor it and if worries you personally i would let the surgeon know about it either at ur next follow up appointment or a call into the office.
hugs!

Thanks guys! I had also asked my friend Shelley (xsmith95) and she said it was pretty normal too. I know I need to take it easy, for the most part I am, but you know how it is when there's kids and a puppy!!! Always something on the floor. Usually I make them pick it up, but there are times when they are gone to school, and it drives me insane!!! My 1 week follow up is tomorrow and I will mention it anyway, but just wanted to feel more at ease now. Hugs to you all!!

Hey Tiff! I hope you are starting to feel better. Call me later and let me know how you are doing. You know how things have been for me. Have a great day and just relax and take it easy!!

HI CHILLY!!!
I know what you mean being a mom of three and my youngest was only 2 years old when i had the surgyer so he was still in diapers and a bit demanding to me at times........my husband bought me a picker upper device at HOME depot to prevent me from bending and picking up to much thru my day. I wound up going back to work early being my day was easier for me when my son had his friends here verse me and him alone.

WOW i didnt realize you are friends with SHELLEY! SHE is a great friend and i am glad our weight loss journeys have allowed us to be such dear friends! I look forward to geting to know you thru your posts!!
hugs

Wow Friendly, I didn't realize that you and Shelley were so close in your journey. Just a week or so apart. Yes, she's a great person and is very supportive. I've known her for many years.

Shelley, I'll try to call ya later. But once the kids get home you know you just can't promise much!! lol I hope Sat. night went well.
