Default seemed to have stopped

I had my surgery March 12 so I am about 2 months out. I lost 50 lbs in the first month and a half but now it is down to a trickle and I have been stuck in the same spot for almost 2 weeks. Is this normal and how do I jumpstart it again. I know I have nbeen eating a little more than before but it is still less than 1200 calories and one of those meals is a 5 oz Protein shake. I am going to try to excersise more. I see a few guys in my group have lost a lot real quick but maybe they have a more active profession(I am in Sales). I am enthiusiastic about how I feel but am just a touch discouraged. Any feedback is welcome.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hey there, hang in there, you are doing very well with your journey.
Yes, a stall is common. It happens almost at any time.
Your body is trying to figure out if you are straving, or if you are okay, and is adjusting right now.

Although men seem to lose at a faster pace than women, and their loss is smoother, that doesn't mean that it will go down in one fell swoop, most people will have bumps and starts.
When the scale is not moving, what about your inches? Clothe sizes--belt size, shirt size etc, you should be losing there.
With exercise, your muscle will be increasing, and muscles weigh more than fat per volume, so as your muscle firms up, you'll see change in size, while no movement with the scale.

The scale isn't the only reference for weightloss, keep in mind, so are the inches.

Up your exercise, and also try upping your protein and water intake, if you have been slacking there, is one way to break the stall.

May your journey go well.

I had surgery 3/14 and have lost 42 lbs....you lost a ton of weight really fast so your body is probably just trying to catch up with that...also this 2 week period is probably when you will notice the biggest drop in inches...I know I did when I had 10 days of no loss.

Hey John your at the 2 month dreaded stall. I know I hit it and thought I was done losing weight, but your not and it will come off. Get out the tape measure because its during these times you will see the inches coming off!!

Thanks all. My support group basically said the same thing but it is always good to be reassured by folks you have been following for a while. You are all great.
