Default Gurgling noise coming from throat?

Right after surgery I noticed I would have this gurgling noise coming from my esophagus and throat and I attributed it to swelling. It finally went away. Now ever since I've had that swelling and even the dilation between my esophagus and pouch I've been having that same gurgling. It's not only annoying it is also waking me up at night. Has anyone had this same problem?
Also I saw my PCP a couple of days ago and told her about my sleeping problems (part due to depression and anxiety) and she prescribed me this muscle relaxer to take instead of the usual Trazodone I take. Well last night I tried it and barely got a wink of sleep. It did the same thing that decongestants do to me in which my mind races and I feel like I took no-doze instead! I feel like crap this morning and am just wondering if any of you have experienced this. Hugs

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Loretta, this isn't from my pouch. It's more like it's just before the pouch and having a hard time getting there. Kind of like when you are trying to squeeze something out of a bottle and those bubbles try and surface. It's really hard to explain but my surgeon wants to see me this afternoon. This is the 3rd doctors appointment for this week and it's getting old fast.

Sounds like a call to your doctor might be a good idea. That does not sound good. Now about the sleeping. Welcome to my world. I can't find anything to help me sleep. I know a lot of people take Benidrill and it puts them out. Not me, makes we wired and wide awake. If you find something please let me know.

Never had that problem. Two Trazadone and I'm down for the count!

Hey Judi, I have that gurgling off and on. Sounds like constant muffled burps, or like there is a water fountain making noise out of my throat. Sometimes it gets so lound that other people hear it! It usually happens about 15 minutes after I eat. It's not as bad as it used to be, but it sure was weird. My doc told me to have some hot broth or decaf tea/coffee a half hour before I ate, and it has been helping.
