Question Weight and Balances

I am just wondering? At the 6 month mark what is average for continued weight loss. I guess I need to ask this to people that are close to my weight?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

You're doing very well.
The standard curve of losing is half of the excess weight in the first 6 months, the next quarter in the next 6 months, and the remaining quarter in 18-24 months.

Expect to start seeing a major slow down in weight loss. Where before you might have been dropping 2,3 maybe even 4 pounds in a week, you will now start losing maybe 1 pound a week and that will slow down even more so that you might only lose 1/2 pound a week. Just stick with the program and by your 1 year mark you will be very close to your goal.

Now's the time to start thinking about maintenance. This is pretty much how you are going to be eating for the rest of your life. So take another look at your diet - is it balanced? Are you getting the right amounts of everything? Too much fat/carbs? Not enough?

I am glad my question helped others. This journey can be difficult to manuver at times. Thanks Doc. Oh yeah, I have never lost 3-4 a week. It has always come off in large amounts at one time. I know this cause I have that "crazy problem" of wanting to get on the scale everyday. There will be nothing for 3 weeks then "poooooof" 8 pounds. I guess my body is crazy.

I'm the same way I lose nothing for awhile then lots at once. I just worry alittle because I am getting close to my goal weight and I am just over 5 monthes out. I think when I get to add some carbs in January that should help me to maintain better. I hope.
