| Hair today...gone tomorrow?????
When is the hair loss going to stop? I cleaned out the tub today and there was enough hair in their to knit a yak a sweater!!! I can't believe I am not totally bald by now!!! I have to constantly put drain cleaner in the tub and shower! I thought it would have slowed down by now(my hair loss, not my drains!)

It'll slow down when your body is comfortable that it can spare the protein because the main part of the surgical healing is done. Actually, there's about a 3-4 month lag with hair, which is why it took awhile to start losing, so about 3-4 months after the body sends the protein back to your hair follicles, you will start to notice regrowth.
In the meantime, buy a good hair trap for your shower drain!
Everyone loses, and everyone gets it back. Not to worry!

Let's not go there!! Still hemorraging hair now and I'm choosing to ignore it. NP at my surgeon's office says the end of 6 months is close to the end. That's another 5 weeks for me. I think the worst part is that I keep breaking out around my hair (or not) line. Geeez! It would be nice if it came off my buns, too. Oh, TMI. Kidding

I am glad to know that I am not alone with this. I am losing so much hair I have clogged up the vacuum twice and the bathtub more times than I can count. I had my surgery July 27th and I thought I would level off by now. My weight loss has but not hair loss. Oh my oh my.

Mine just finally stopped falling out and now I have all these tufts of new hair growing in. I thought for sure I would have been bald by Christmas. I had handfuls coming out but I had more hair then 3 people together to start. Now it just looks like a normal persons hair. I started taking Biotine suppliment when it started to fall out. Hang in there ladies.
