OMG I could not wait until today......could finally add tuna and scrambled eggs. Ate 1/4 tuna sand for supper and broke out in serious hives! Called the Dr. Even he was stumped. Been eating tuna my whole life. The husband is at the store now getting me benedril. Any body else experience this? And I couldnt wait to finally start eating semi sold foods. Lets hope I have not developed an allergy to all seafoods. That would really suck.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I was actually referring to the original post when I said weird, but I cannot imagine not being able to eat fish!

Fish can cause allergies. It seems those with higher fat content are worse.
By tuna sandwich, I take it you mean tuna cans. Canned food can cause allergies as well due to the preservatives, unless they are homemade canned foods.

I know that fish allergies can creep up at any time, so that's scary!

Anyway, might I suggest staying off the bread this early out? Bread (even wheat bread) is full of carbs and sugar. You're only 2 weeks out. I know when I was cleared at 2 weeks post-surgery, it was for scrambled eggs, tuna...basically thicker liquids.Call your dietitian at the surgeon's office and make sure you are following their food suggestions. Tuna is just that - tuna (not with bread, dressing, etc.).

I'm not trying to be harsh, but you should be eating protein (like tuna) first, then veggies, then carbs last. I don't want to see you set yourself up to possibly fail! Good luck!
