Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Yep I've heard of both...chia seeds will swell up when taken so I'm wondering how that would work out for WLS folks. I have been training for a half marathon and I was told the chia seeds are good to use before a race as they keep you hydrated...I'm still worried about how they will feel if they swell ya know? Flax I know is something a lot of folks use to help keep things "flowing".

I' m two years out from surgery and I have used the flax seed without any problems.
I've grinded them in my spice grinder and added them to my quinoa cereal and also to put in a smoothie.
This week I added them to soup without grinding them and they were more chewy. I prefer the grinded method.
But no problems with my pouch at all.

Good Chewing!

thanks for the feed back i can say i just did a smootie drink this morning that was very good to me i took a spice grinder and added i scoop of my favorite coffee instant and 1 tbs of flax and 1 tbls of chia seed with a 1/2 tbls of cheesecake sugar free pudding powder and a hand full of raw walnuts and grinded them all together then in my magic bullet cup i put 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt mixed dry with wet mixed together with ice to the thickness you like and ummmm it was really good

i have learned that chia seeds have been known as a food that can help lower th blood pressure so the recominded amount per day is 3 tbls but you have to watch that it can drop the blood pressure if you are on meds

i am going to see if it help with my pressure to see if i can get away from my perscriptions
