Default How Much Longer?

After lap. GB, how long does that left side still hurt (a lot) every time you bend over, stand after sitting, and get out of bed? I would have thought it would be pretty mild by now.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

My pain lasted 4 weeks and then I took muscle relaxers and the pain stopped. But I had gastric Bypass so not sure about GB.

I was told it could last a while. It's because that's the one that they move the scope around. The muscle is irritated.

Guess it just depends on your body. I haven't had pain in about 1.5 weeks. I had my surgery 2 days before you.

Mine lasted about 4 weeks. What really helped me was regular intervals of pain meds and a heat pad...my heat pad was my best post surgery friend. The heat somehow allowed me to relax enough and I feel helped facilitate that healing, and the pain meds took away the pain (I was getting real tired of taking meds, but it was so worth it). If you have a heat pad, use it. If you dont, I recommend buying one.

Mine still hurts a little just above and to the left of my belly button, it's not bad most of the time but every once in a while it will get a yelp out me especially if I'm slouching forward at the computer lol. Been off the pain meds since the 22nd and Tylenol usually keeps it bearable when it does hurt....
