Hmmm, hate to be dissapointing to you gals, but....
The truth about stretch marks....
Stretch marks are due to the break of the elastic layer of the skin, just below the outermost layer of the skin. This happens when the skin is stretched more than the elastic layer can stay intact with the stretching, and the scar lines turn up white, and will fade to a certain extent with time, but the break in the layer doesn't recover, and stays a scar line.
So, basically, they aren't going to go away, and with weightloss, the wrinkles will become more noticiable.
The amount and the limit where you get stretch marks will depend partly on your constitution/genetics, so with two different persons with same conditions to start with will end up differently.
Thin women can get it, too, and you see it most often with pregnancies, though some lucky women seem to make it through without any.
Truth is, I have some on my butt, I didn't get any on the front that was noticiable with my pregnancies, but I guess I got mine on the behinds instead.
