Default soft foods

Hello everyone, I'm two weeks after the surgery not yet ready for soft foods but I will be in two weeks. My question is do you guys have any bad experience with any of the soft foods and which one should i start out with first? I guess I can eat tuna and chicken , cheese, yougurt and lf cottage cheese. I cant wait to be able to eat something hahahaha

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I didnt really have a bad experience but for with the chicken puree at about two weeks out. I didnt throw up or anything, it just felt like it was stuck in my lower abdomen. I cant explain it any other way. I had to lay down until it moved. other than that, if your dr says its ok try some scrambled egg with quarter cup of skim milk beaten in. i did really well with those and mashed potatoes; which you can mix unflavored protein powders into for an added boost.

PS. I was dying to eat just to be able to eat. and now that i can i dont really want to. I dont have much of an appetite at all since surgery. I guess that was the point LOL!

Well for the most part people have trouble with starting to soon with eggs being its a simple to make soft food alot of folks have trouble with it.
I was fine with eggs......
BE creative, eat slow and you should be fine!
ITS an exciteing stage and im sure you will be fine!

I did pintos and cheese, noodless lasagna, mashed potatoes, pureed out chicken broccoli and cheese soup.....

True. I couldnt eat scrambled eggs without the 1/4 c milk mixed in until about a week ago. Again, I didnt get sick, but it just didnt feel "right".

I too was like Kenyar. I cant explain teh feeling but the chicken puree just kinda sat there like it was stuck. I thought maybe I had eaten too fast but it happened the next time too. I also didnt do well with scrambled eggs my first time. I got this awful sick feeling. So then I avioded them for some time. I was afraid of that feeling. I stuck too my protein shakes, my puddings and mashed potatoes were good too. Just remember to eat slow!!!
