This is a stupid question , but some of you guys and gals know me, I just had to ask! LOL Ok bare in mind that I havnt seen my sergion yet...A week and a half to go...But! When you go see your sergion ,how many of your Drs take before and after pics of you? Im just curious, I realize some do and some dont probably. But damn it...I have to do something with this anxiety dont I...LOL Come on ...lets here from both benches...the altimate losers bench and the I wanna be losers bench! Lets have some fun with this...oh ya...say something nice to me...even if you dont mean it...it will make me feel better!!!! LOL

Its perfectly normal to feel anxious and no this is not a stupid question. I wondered about it before i started my journey. my surgeon didnt take any pics at all. They measured my waist, thighs and upper arms and weighed me but that was it. and every follow up visit they take the measurements in the same areas. no pics though. i invested in a digital camera. someone here suggested it to me so i could see the changes. and i snap a picture or two every week or so and it is amazing. you really do see the difference more in pics. Good luck on your journey!

Don't stress. They don't make you get naked!!!! LOL. My surgeon did take a before and an after at 6 months. I know each dr does things differently. I would urge you to have before photos taken. I really helps the mind as you are loosing the weight.

MINE didnt when i had the surgery but does now and unlike when u go to the plastic surgeons ...its done fully clothed. THAT is one think im not to keen on the pics taken naked for insurance submittal for tummy work now thats something im not to brave about. ANYWAY its an emotional time for sure being so close! Hey Jerry this is way far from being a stupid question! my Surgeon didn't! I guess he had enough of seeing nude ugly bodies hehehe! I took my before semi-naked pictures and I always look at them, in fact I showed them to the plastic surgeon the other day his jaw dropped down to the floor hehehe. Every time I look at this before picture I feel so terrible and sorry about the long years I spent in my life looking like that!!! Ehhh I wish if the health technology of WLS's has reached my country long time ago! I would have lived "happily ever after" ages ago! I also take monthly progress pictures on my anniversary's opss you know I forgot the 13th month pictures! I should do it next 6/18! thanks for reminding me  Happy losing Hanadi |

Jerry mine does too. I am preop but was told when it comes time for surgery they'll take the pics and like Jeane at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months. I also have follow ups for 5 years after surgery. They want to make sure I am succeeding. I love my bariatric clinic they rock
