As far as the tummy noises had that for about my first 8 months it doesnt last forever cause i dont have it at all now. KEEP up the great work and just makes jokes about all that noise. AT times i was able to hear the water going thru my system but not anymore! hang in there and enjoy this journey!

I'm 5 yrs post op RNY proximal and *as I strain to remember!* I had noises and rumblings the 1st two months until I finally figured out that I couldn't eat fruit, it was making me dump and get loosey loose stools and diarrhea AND the horrible gas/rumblings.. ---bree

It usually happends right after I eat, sometimes while eating. Also when i drink I can hear the fluids passing thru as well. I chalk it up to being re routed. | Welcome aboard! HEY THERE KITS!!!!!! Well, as far as the belly noises go, mine still makes noise, and ALOT, sometimes. No, ALL the time, actually.  I have gotten used to it though. Most of the time, still, as Lisa said, I can hear the water running through also. The wife is always nudging me when we are watching TV. Most of the time I will ask her what in the heck are you doing. Yup, you guessed it. I don't even hear it anymore, but she sure can. I guess kitz, being that everyone is different, you will have to see how it turns out for you. lol Hope to get to know you a bit better from your posts. mike |
