Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

UNFORTUNATELY, no there isnt much to stop it...
it does have to run its course.
I promise you wont become totally bald like a
cancer meds patient but you will go thru a TON
of thinning. ITS very hard stage for us...
took a toll on me.
YOU can take biotin for the new growth....it
will speed up the new growth ....
i know my hair dresser had me use nioxin shampoo...
and stated to not color it or wear pony tails alot
during this phase from my surgery.
I took her advice and will say its comeing
back nice and full now like it always was.
ITS a very difficult phase for us
i know i personally took pride in my hair tons
when heavy being i hated my body!
(((HUG)))))
we sort of know this phase pre op but until
it hits its hard to realize the scare it puts on us.
HANG in there and go treat yourself to a new outfit
or just go and try on new clothes to see how fabulous
your doing to bring up those spirits. FOR me i lost it till
12 months out and started between months 3 and 4 for me.

Ahhh...around the time this starts. Some swear by Biotin.
There's lots of threads about hairloss, mostly in Coffe Talk, but in Stupid Qs as well.
Do a search with "hair loss" and you'll come up with plenty.
It will stop once your weight stabilizes. This is from the rapid weight loss, not the surgery itself, with any diet where you lose a lot of weight, this often happens.
It's distrubing yes, but hang in there, it is temporary, though the temporary is a bit long compared to the usual temporary.
(((((((HUGS))))))
