Hello to all
I had a Gastric Bypass back in Sep/03. When i had the surgery i weighed 250 lbs. By Christmas i had lost 45 lbs. And i was looking good.
I went down to 175 lbs and after that i stopped loosing weight. Now after 3 yrs and 9 months slowly i have gained some of the weight back.
Is this common??????
Has this happen to anyone else????

Please HELP!!!!!! What can i do to loose it again?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Welcome to the board, thank you for joining us.
Congratulations on your weight loss, and your successful journey so far.
As for your question. Yes, gaining back about 10% of the weight you lost is common. As a matter of fact, you will hit the bottom, then regain just that little bit and stabilize there. The point is, how is your health? Has any of your previous health problems returned? I imagine not, so you are still doing well. Just make certain the you keep to the rules of protein first, and 60g or whatever your surgeon instructed you, plus plenty of water, 64oz a day, or more if your surgeon said more.

Here's a couple of threads for you.
Longterm success--the reality and putting it in perspective.
Pouch Rules.

BTW, I have moved your thread from where you originally posted, as this belongs better here.

((((((HUGS))))))) May your journey go well.

HIYA....
i am not as far out as you but regaining is a reality if we miss
use the tool we have been giveing.

I know for me i just went on a 10 day strict eating plan because i had
noticed my eating wasnt the "POUCH RULES"...and i must say it helped
me get back on track eating right. NOW i get full on less again....
and the cravings are gone and i dropped a few that i had put on....

I would suggest you get on track
and work on eating that high protein lo carb no sugar
way of life to gain control!

GOOD LUCK and i look forward
to getting to know you thru your
posts.
I think posting this is your first step to takeing
charge of the eating. TRUST me i know its
easy to loose control!
