Thanks so much everyone for all the detailed info

I feel that the day I joined this forum (yesterday) was a life changing event for me. I did not feel this sense of "friendship" on other forums.

Everyone on here seems like a family. I want to meet so many ppl from here!!

I am in Port Jefferson, NY--- I live right next to the ferry to Bridgeport, CT and am just a car ride form the ferry to New London, CT.

Soooooooo-- it would be easy for me to meet ppl from LI/NY as well as CT, and even to drive as far as NJ, PA, and MD!!

We should have a get together... I have NEVER met ppl that truly understood what I go through with food- until now.

It's sad... if I were a druggie or drunk, ppl would understand it and have empathy--- but a druggie can stop the drugs and a drunk can put down the drink-- but a food addict can't stop eatting.

I HAVE made some very dear friends from this journey!
YOU know im not far from you at all about
a 20 min. drive.
We will meet i know that for a fact!!!!

some of the big boards are just too big

I agree on how many friends you can make here. No matter how bad and how happy you can be there is always someone here we can share and/or cry with.
I am so very happy too for all of you here.

Hey we did talk last summer about meeting somewhere as a group thing, I will go back and hope to find that thread but otherwise it would be nice to meet .
