| Super Moderator | If your surgeon instructs this, and his other patients do fine with it, it's good for you, too. You will be on liquids for a couple of weeks, so that sounds fine. (((((HUGS)))) Exciting time for you.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | ok heres the thing. i didnt do fine with the puree. it was WAY TOO SOON for me. Try to follow your dr's instructions. your body will let you know what its ready for. IF you cant move to puree, theres nothing in the rule books that says you cant stay on liquids an extra week and then try again. There will be lots of trial and error. To this day one day I can eat something, the next day it makes my pouchy angry, and then a few days later i try again and im fine. MY pouch clearly has its own personality LOL! you will do fine. I'm so excited for you. I remember how excited I was when I got the mealplans. |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | IF thats how your surgeon lays it out its fine. Every surgeon steps you up the food rungs a bit differently....and sometimes along the way they adjust them and push you back!!! HOW exciteing with your surgery around the corner. SOUNDS like your surgeon is very cautious and thats okay! (((HUG)))

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I was on liquid diet for 6 weeks, than soft for a month, now on regular food. I just have hard time with certain things I try, but do eat protiens first, than veggies. Take care, Kathy |
