I think having regular sugar in teeny tiny amounts is better and more natural than the sugar alchohols., like Lisa said they are hard on your body and have pretty yucky results. I have been able to tolerate them to a point but find that my tummy prefers the regular stuff. robbin

I looked thru everything edible that I own, and almost everything that is "sugar free" contains sugar alcohols and i never knew it. All this time i have been eating them and never knew it. I never dumped or got the "poops" so i guess i tolerate them well?? who knows. I really dont even understand all of this to be honest. but im stickin with what works for now. Im not going to stress myself out over this. im sure there are BIGGER things that i need to focus on, like gettin in all the darn fluids. thanks to all of you for your input....tomorrow is another day
