| is anyone on the bord doing meda fast or has done it ?my thoughts so far Hello, I was wondering if anyone on the bord is doing meda fast or has done it?
I am on day 2 I have 49 more days to go. This has already poven to be the hardest thing I have done yet.
6/16/2007 Yesterday my first day i spent most of the day on the couch very tired and sleepy. They shakes did not taste bad i kind of liked them and i looked forward to my one meal. 4oz. of chicken and 1 1/2 cups veggies. over all it wasn't to bad
6/17/2007 today did not start out as well. I made the shakes and took them to work with me and water. just the thought of drinking it on the way to work was makeing me naushis. Then i got to work and i new i had to start drinking if i was going to get all this shake down me for the hole day. I was sick the hole day and i had to literly force it down . I felt week and very out of it. When i got home i naped and felt better. I eat my one small meal and i am feeling a little more myself now that it is evaning. I have one more shake left and i am going to hold off on it a little bit. all in all I made it through the day. Im a nother day closer to my goal.

Hi Ashley
I never did medafast but I was just passing thru to lend you some support. I have to give you and anyone else whop has done this credit. I was never able to make it thru more than a day or two of liquid fasting. I think the last one i did was when "slim fast" first came out lol! But my goodness, I dont know if i could do it. Keep up the good work. You are definitely on your way!!!!

all i can say is i did medifast as a diet by a doctor and hated it ...
i think on that plan i dropped 40 to only come off it and gain it all back.
WHAT your going thru will go away tired, achey, headachy its the withdrawals from the bad foods. IF you get thru about 4 or 5 days you
will feel better !
HANG in there !!!!

Me no i have never did it but im sure someone on here has. Im giving you my support honey and always will. I think Lisa is gonna be right on this give it a few days then you will feel better. I watched her detox her self with carbs.
I love seeing you back. Hang in there Ashley you can do it. This is a little off key but not to.... have you watched Rocky Balboha yet? I loved the Rocky movies but got tired of them back in the 80's. I set down to watch the new one today. It shows how he never give up on what mattered to him and what he does.
You take care my friend. Smile when you drink that shake and know your doing it to get that surgery you want so badly.

Just one Q. Sorry if I missed, it, but is the medifast your surgeon's program?
Think of the number of days you've covered, and don't think of the days left, it might be easier for you to get through by just patting yourself on your back for each day you got through, and left the days you still have to go, to tomorrow.
Say, where'd your chicken go? They were so cute, I miss them and your colorful posts, too.

I didn't have to do that, so I'm not really sure how it is. But we are here for ya!! Like Doc said, don't think of the days you have left, but think about the days you have accomplished this far!!

I did not have to do it but I just wanted you to know that you will get through this. Once your body gets past the detoxing you will do much better.
