I've been getting hiccups after eating smometimes after drinking as well.  Its the deep kind too lol! Anyone know what the deal is with that?

I have not had to deal with hiccups but I hope you feel better. Did you see that 16 year old girl that had hiccups for weeks? If they get bothersome you might want to consult your doctor. Roz

its not continuous lol. it just happends for a bit after i eat or drink. i think it means im "full" but im not sure. im not really uncomfortable at all either lol.

i think its an air issue... i awlay get hiccups out of the blue but i was like this before surgery so i dont concern. YOU will find too your pouch talks too! I at times can hear the water going thru .... its funny but that was earlier out not now!

Technically, hiccups are convulsions of your diaphragm--the muscle layer between your chest cavity and your abdominal cavity. Surgery may have made your diaphragm more susceptible to stimulus that causes hiccups, but I don't think there's any research data on this.

I get them alot too and like Lisa sometimes out of the blue. I just take a few sips of something and they normally go away or if that doesn't work after a few minutes they are gone anyway.

MINE i will add can be so embarassing! (and i did this pre op) i can be in a one of my training classes, all quiet and one pops up and out... so embarassing loud and everyone looks at me!!!! eeks i always thought nerves brought them on who knows
