Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass   |  insurace ? MY ? is MY surgery date of aug.6 was approved by my insurace. The doctors office moved my date up to July 19. Do I just call the insurace and let them know the date was changed? Will they still apporove and cover the date of the 19 that it was moved up to? This has me a little stessed out Has this happened to anyone else?

That's my fear that they did not get the date pre-authorized. I'm just going to dubble check i gess relax is really not in my vocabulary right now. I have so much to get done in such little time Monday i have to have blood work done the endocrinologist wants to run another test that is at 8:00 then i have to be the hour away to the hospital at 10:00 for pre-admitions and that takes 3 hours they told me then at 1:00 i have to be at the surgens for my last meeting with him then i have to be back to my job by 3:00 to work till 8:30 Im tired already and it only sat and monday is a day away lol I still have to call the insurace to make shore that date is ok And my doctors app to meet with my doctor was for friday and my surgery is now scedualed for thursday so that is not going to work. So i have to try to get in there and that is going to be a joke. so stress leval elivated yes ,relax little hard right now

Relax Ashley. Its OK. They do this all the time honey. They will call and move the date of the approval up. I would call Monday afternoon or Tuesday AM to check. Its simple. All they do is change the date in the computer. Takes 2 seconds. I do this every day myself. Relax now and enjoy this. Breathe.... LOL. I am so happy for you. I think I have told you that so many time but I really am happy for you. You took good advice and followed it and done what you had to. Your a strong lady that is for sure. I was sitting in a place call Texas Roadhouse today in a booth. I told the hubby wont be long until I can acutally fit in this dang booth right. He smiled at me. Then I said you know honey..... In a few months I can walk into a place like this and ask to buy one of there T-Shirts and not worry if they have it in a XXXL or XXL without having to stretch it out to wear mabye one time before you wash it and it shrinks up. He looked at me so oddly. He said you know I never thought of it that way for you. He said I have noticed when we go somewhere and they have a signiture T-Shirt on sale how you look but never buy. I said yes those little things are things I cant do nor could do now for years. But I will. Now if I could get you to show some of that humor we all love i would be GREAT! LOL |

Ms Vickie, have you ever heard of Cuz's? It is the best place to eat in Southwest Virginia! I have always wanted a shirt, but could never wear one. One of my goals when I have lost some more weight is to get one of those shirts. I also want to go and not have the person go get me a sturdy chair or they place me in a booth because I can fit. Isn't this a strange small world?

Yes Genmel Its is honey. Things others would never think of .... are battles for us. I have never heard of the place but I will have to find it for sure. I dont know if you know the group ALABAMA or not. There one of my most favorite groups in the world. I went to a concert of theirs once....it was at a Ampitheatre out side. I was front row standing and having a great time. Near the end they annouced they were gonna be selling T-Shirts but would be closing the booth in a few mins so that was the last call. I made sure I went over to the boothe they had set up to get me one. Now this was several years ago. I got up there and the one I wanted only come up to a XL. The only one they had to fit me at that time was a XXL from a concert they did a year and a half ago. It was half price but that is all they had in that size. I inturn ended up buying 3 different ones for the concert I was attending at the time in size Large. I have kept them sealed up for the day Im able to fit them. Then....yes i will wear them with pride. This was the last year they toured. When I go to Myrtle Beach in South Carolina I will be sure the get some from the House of Blues....etc.....I have never been able to wear. I cant wait ! I love T-shirts that are signitures from places I have been. I have never been able to just buy them and wear them. |

You will need to take p ictures for us when you get into those Alabama shirts. I love them and miss them. I am off to Myrtle Beach next Sunday! You need to check out Cuz's one day before surgery, of course it is an awful big drive for you. The restaurant was made out of a barn and there are pictures of pigs everywhere. My daughter laughs her head off at the female pig at the back. Anyway, I probably will not eat there again like I used to, but it will be great to sit in one of their booths and buy me a pig shirt. BB King is supposed to be at the House of Blues when I go.
