Dumb question. Is popcorn OK? I have unpoped bags in the cupboard out of the box so i dont have the nutritional facts. Obviously like lite or lower fat. Also how much have you eaten at once.

Also what about Kettle corn...I just had some at a fair we went to. Im not sure how much but it has a little sugar in it.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

If your surgeon oks it then i say try it out. I had it early out and did fine with it and usually snack on it everyday. Try a small amount first and see how you tolerate it. Everything is trial and error post op. I always say give it a try as long as its cleared by the surgeon and or nutrionist. I use the lite natural kinds or the lite smartfood cheese popcorn.

Let us know how you guys do if you do try.

FOR me i tried it well after six months and it would hurt my pouch.
IT took me well over 12 months to not get that bloat hurt from it.

I also steer away from it for me....who has issues with carbs
finds even micro popcorn will trigger grazing and some old
habits so i have to limit. I am better off personally with fruit
snacks then a carb
Everyone has different issues.....
and i have learned what my worst enemies can be.

Ive had a few bites of it here and there but like Lisa says I get this bloatted full feeling. i get that with any carbs I do. So lately i have
not touched the popcorn. I do fine right away but then an hour or two later I get his really rock hard bloatted feeling.
But like they say, everyone is different. I do fine on salads but then I see on here that others dont.

Moderation, trial and error--just as with any food.

I can definatly tolerate it. I guess my question was...how much of it can we eat at a time and nutritionally is it too much of a carb. It seems like when I eat it. i can just keep on eating it. Where when I normally eat i get full pretty quickly. Example I prob ate like 3 cups of kettle corn last night and had to close the bag otherwise i would have continued easily.

Popcorn can become grazing food, so be careful there. If you want to eat it, I suggest you set a limit, like maybe one cup, and dicipline yourself not to go over the limit.
If you want to find out the nutritional value, check out the Food Survey site linked in the following thread.
What's in the Foods You Eat?
