| Whipper Snapper | Sorry if this is all old stuff and been talked about before.... I vomit so easily, I suffer extreme motion sickness and unlike some who like the feeling of a full stomach I just hate it. It is one of the most horrible sensations I can experience. Throwing up makes me feel so much better. I have concerns that after surgery I will feel permantly this way bloated and horrible 24/7 as avoiding vomiting is high on the list of things I should do. Has anybody else had this fear or felt like I did pre op ? Did they actually end up feeling this way post op ? Volume wise now I am not a huge eater, yes I eat the WRONG things but compared to most people I know the volume of food I eat is not that great. I will use junk food here as an example because the portion sizes are about the same here as they are in the USA. For me trying to finish a burger king whopper and more than half a small size onion rings is close to impossible most days of the year without leaving me feeling extremely bloated and uncomfortable for the rest of the day. I tend to give in and stop 3/4 though the burger. I have been like this now for about 18 months so without dieting I have dropped (maths here) 70 pounds approx (remember I am a kg girl here *LOL*). This weight loss now has now slowed down. This started at the time I started taking medication for diabetes. My doctor said that is a pretty normal reaction to the medication. So has anybody else had this sort of problem pre op and how did they go post op ? applesauce |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I did not eat a lot volume wise either but I made majorly wrong choices, high fat content, high sugar, fried you name it I did it. I had a problem with getting that stuffed feeling too! Post Op, I have not had a major problem with that full feeling but it won't take you long to figure out when to stop before you hit that point. I have thrown up a few times but it was from getting something stuck from not chewing enough. Talk to your doc about that and see what he says. Roz
