Default Questions about eating

Hey guys ~ Just a few quick questions I am just starting pureed foods and it feels weird. It seems strange to me that I can't drink while I eat. It feels like the food is just sorta sitting there. Doesnt really hurt and I'm not particularly feeling bad; I just dont feel particularly good either. I did ok with the applesauce yesterday, then tried pureed turkey in healthy request cream of ckn base. tasted fine but I could only eat a few bites ~ literally, maybe, 1 tablespoon total. Is this normal? Should I phase new foods in slowly? Help

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

SOUNDS like things are going well.
doesnt take much early out to fill you up
and sometimes food feels different.
AS long as your not vommitting i would
say keep moveing forward and trying different things.
hugs
it can be scary

You'll have your good days and your bad days.
So long as you don't or aren't in pain, sit tight, hang in there.

Red face Ohhhh,

I'm feeling a little 'jealous'....
Ohhhhh, I remember those days that I could barely eat ANYTHING....

That is sooooo normal!
You are doing fantastic....
Applesauce is smoother....more moist....and just slips thru the pouch. Where the pureed turkey mixture is sticky....and will take a bit to go thru your new small "HEALING" pouch.

Just keep in tuned with your body....
ENJOY not feeling hungry....that is one of the BEST gifts in the early stages of the Post Op phase!!!

AND...work on your "inner voice" regarding food. What is your relationship with food now?? How are you feeling about the small amounts you are able to eat or the large amounts you are NOT able to eat??
At this point in your journey this is the best time to do the Inner Work....it's soooo important to heal your "Whole Self"....as you are loosing weight now!

Congrats on your new LIFE!!!

It is normal, early out it does not take much at all to fill you up.
