Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Leave it to me to think up the wierd stuff..... Is there any way to slow down or stop your weight loss should you decide you are getting too small? does anyone know? i mean i know there is a window where the LBS will fall off fast and furious, but what if you decide you are getting too thin? what then? PS I am JUST curious. I am not trying to stop my weightloss at this point at all..... |

| Super Moderator | Sure. Up your intake. Graze. Eat the *wrong* kind of stuff. Quit exercising. Jokes aside, increasing your intake by 500 kcals or so, and getting that increase more from carbs and fat rather than protein should do the job, theoretically. You can also stabilize your weight by increasing your muscle, as muscle weighs more, but at the same time, muscles eat up more kcals, so you will need to up your intake accordingly, to stay there.

| Kenya, you get more lovely with each new picture. I am glad that you keep supplying us with new ones. About the weight.....any time that you want to stop losing and go into maintenance, you DO start eating more. The trick here is that you don't do what you always did and go back to eating like a 'normal' person. It is a slow process if you are going to do it right. You have to add one new thing to your daily diet and see what effect it has. The best suggestions I have seen are things like 2% cheese instead of fat free or 2% milk instead of skim or a serving of potato or other starch, or a whole piece of fruit. Then you just see how your body reacts. If your losing slows, you are on the right track. See, you just can't add a handful of oreos every day and expect that to work. It will, but it will set off those old cravings that you worked so hard to rid yourself of. You have time yet to think about this and plan for it and that is why I know you will be successful. |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Celadon thank you for the compliment. This is off topic but I'll explain why I change them so frequently. The truth about the pictures is, i rotate them because it helps me to see myself change. in the mirror i dont see it at all which is INSANE but when i take a picture i see a totally different person. so i keep taking them lol. |
