 |  Pain in lower mid side Hey has anyone experienced a pain in the mid left side recently after eating. My wife is one week out and had her first soft food( egg beater omlette) and experienced a pain in her left side. It is starting to go away but it was nagging for a while. any input is appreciated.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass   | yep. its the food travelling. I would say i THINK it is. I felt that way EVERYTIME i ate when i moved to puree. i had it to the point where i would have to lay down until it passed. if its horrible and she cant take it would say call the surgeon.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Sorry but I didnt experience that. I would sometimes get a pain or lump in my throat but not in my left side. Sorry I cant help. Tell her to hang in there and maybe try eating a bit slower. I know with me the eggs just didnt do well in the begining. Once I waited a while and re-interouduced them it got better. Good luck.
