This may be a stretch, but has your glucometer been calibrated recently? Just a thought. |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Call your glucometer's manufacturer and see if they can sell you a vial of measured test fluid. Then test your glucometer to see if the fluid tests what the vial says it should. the manufacturer can also give you instructions on how to calibrate it if it measures wrong. hope this helps. |

You need to make sure your glucometer's callibrated right before you start using it. The kit should come with a callibration tape, if not, you need to get the test fluid. If your two hour glucose level is really that high, you may need to have your A1C taken to see if it has risen, and also your blood insulin level checked. BG 200 is not that high for diabetics, but it is for a non-diabetic, so that may be the reason you are feeling woozy. Physical stress like bugs and runs can make the BG go up to about that number. Also be careful of dehydration, as that will make your BG go up, too. Not to scare you, but if the glucose level really gets that high, you need to let your surgeon know.

I think it was a fluids issue but I am puzzled as to why. I feel SO MUCH BETTER today. No more swelling etc. I have no idea what i did wrong. I just sat up drinking water last night and i feel great today....
