Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | ...but I really dont feel well. ![]() My ankles are still swollen, not terribly, but enough to notice. And i feel a little woosey. I had food today but not much, i drank two shakes to try to get all my protein in. Oh maybe someone can help me with this. i just took my blood sugar and its 199 and i havent eaten yet. I am reading the booklet that came with the meter and it says the normal range before meals should be 110 or below. im guessing this is not good? is this why i dont feel well? Gosh is this going to last much longer? I am going to lay down. if i dont stay up to post for Big Medicine tonight please forgive me this time. |

YEAH everyoen is sick alot is going around these days. FEEL well and no matter what get those fluids in ! ITS very humid and hot and may be the problem. FEEL well, have you taken your tempreture? i know my hubby has been so ill for like 2 weeks was on a round of antibiotics and still not better so went back today to be given more and was told to give it another 2 weeks so some rough bugs out there !!! feel good!

Normal range is 80 to 120. Although 190 is high, if your body is understress it makes your insuling level go up. You should eat something that will take your body a little while to break down which will make your insuling not go up from so much as it would from say a easy to digest carb. If your insulin level goes up and holds at over 280 for an extended period of time, you probably should contact your doctor.

thanks for explaining. see i am not diabetic. but i wanted to track my blood sugar because i have been sleepy a few hours after eating since surgery. Boots i hadnt eaten in over 2 hours. I dont really know what the numbers mean but ive been drinking water since i got home and retested and am now at 81. i dont fully understand what all this means but sincei got it yesterday, i have tested myself when i feel crappy which is usually 2 hours after eating and it is usually high. yesterday it was 212 and i felt crappy. i cant remember what i ate before that though...today i had a piece of grilled chicken in a whole wheat wrap and when i tested 2 hours after it was 199. i dont get it. what am i doing wrong? |

under stress LOL! im ALWAYS under stress lol. im a single mom, i work full time, my commute is 2 hours in the evening, and i absolutely HATE my job...ontop of that i am 3 months out from wls and quit smoking back in april as a requirement for the surgery lol! yes i am ALWAYS under stress. this cant be good...

i got it from the cafeteria at work lol. it was just plain grilled chicken cut up in a whole wheat wrap. i dont do dressing or anything like that because they dont have the bottle in the cafeteria so i cant check the ingredients. i was allowed bread since 6 weeks or so. i had to have it toasted but i generally dont do well with it. it just kind of balls up in my pouch and sits there. but i can do wraps and pita pockets...and whole wheat english muffins. i can only eat about half of either of those things though... |
