Question Another weird female type question sorry guys

I went to the G-lady last week to discuss the evil TOMs that have been going on lately (as well as prior to surgery). She decided to do an endometrial biopsy there and schedule me for a pelvic and intravaginal sonogram to figure out if there was any weirdness going on and if not, then we'd get the Mirena put in to help ease up the TOMs.

I went for the ultrasound yesterday. It's a real challenge to fill up with water for the pelvic part! After feeling like a giant water balloon about to burst, she had me do the inside part. While she was poking around things started to get pretty tender but I keep my mouth shut since I figure it's normal with them poking around.... Then the tech is like, "does that hurt?" So I tell her "yes, pretty good, too, is this a bad thing?" Then she mumbles something about an ovary and that she can't really make that call and that was about it... some more moving around (some more pain) and then she was done. She told me I'd hear from the doctors in about two days. ACK!

Sooooooooo..... Should I be worried? Or is all that digging around guaranteed to hurt? BTW... I think the Endometrial Biopsy spawned yet another TOM.... don't know if that would have anything to do with it.

Sorry to be such a worry wart....

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

yeah i had and still get cysts. the way you are describing everything thats how it sounds. of course im not a dr or anything, but if it was something MAJOR i would think they would have told you, eventhough they arent supposed to.

When i had the cyst, they did the ultrasound and by the time i had gotten back into the dr to discuss the results, it had already burst. no biggie. i had a fever for a day. ontop of that i was told it wasnt large enough to operate or medicate which i thought was wierd. but it definitely could explain the rough time you are having with TOM...

like lisa said, dont stress over it. the dr will get back to you.

Hey Cindy I'm going through the same thing right now. Had my ultrasound last week and biopsy yesterday awaiting results still. The ultrasound showed some calium built up in my uterus and a cyst on my ovary but they will not know what they are doing until my biopsy results are back. They are also talking about the mirena or how ever you spell with me too.

Cyst are strange little fellows. They say we all get them from time to time. I suffer From polycystic ovarys. I have acutally had one taken out because of the size of the cyst I had on one and then when they went to remove it they found it had attached it self to my bowels. So they can cause alot of problems.

Your doing the best thing you can for yourself and keeping it checked on. The expert on Merina is our fellow loser Ashely.
