This Morning 9:00 I Had To Drink The Barium For My Catscan And Then After That They Asked Me To Drink Water. Boy Was It Hard. But Then At Around 2:30 I Came HOME Feeling Fine And Figured I Havent Eaten All Day So I Better Make Somthing. I Had What I Always Have Refreid Beans And Melted Low Fat Cheese. I Might Of Ate A Little To Much Or Maybe I Put To Much Cheese On Than Usual Cause My Pouch Was Sure Crying Ouchy Afterward. The Sharp Tight Pain In My Left Side And Hurts Mostly When You Take A Real Deep Breath. The Pain Has Gotten A Little Better But Not Completly. How Long Will It Take For It To Go Away? Plus I Havent Been Drinking Water Because Of This. Im Waiting For The Pain To Go Away. Meanwhile Its Almost 8:00 PM

That pain usually means the food is stuck for me and I go puke. But I hope that is not what it means for you!!

Since you had barium test, you should keep up with the fluids. Plus, if the food is stuck, liquids can make it go down a bit easier. Don't do it with your regular meals, though. As for , that's the last resort, but if food does get stuck and won't budge, if you can , that's the simplest way to take care of if, actually. Again, don't make it a habit.Hope you're feeling better this morning, Edie. ((((((HUGS))))))

I would also suggest a GASX chewable... i had to use them tons post op and never had issues like that pre op. BUT i found my pouch gets gasy and it gives annoying cramping pains and that always helped me. HOPEFULLY it will pass! now how were the tests? DID you get the drain out????? ((HUG))
