Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | But again I am having trouble eating. I am FULL I mean STUFFED. I havent even eaten that much today. Some days I get like this. Is it BAD to NOT eat and just drink shakes when this happends? It's not anything like a stricture and I am not vomitting, and don't feel sick at all. I am just SO FULL. I just dont see the point in even eating if I am not getting in much. All I have had so far today is 3 strips of bacon, about an ounce of a hamburger, and 1 oz of cheddar cheese, whats worse is I have only gotten in about 16 ozs of fluids Usually by now, I have in 2 meals and 2 snacks and almost 40 ozs of water...what gives?? WARNING I AM ABOUT TO START WHINING HARDCORE: While I am on the topic, and VERY frustrated I might add, I should say some days I feel like just giving up. Either I get full really essily or I am a bottomless pit. It's too hot to exercise. I am getting smaller so I know I am losing but it doesnt feel fast enough. I cant get in the required fluids much less the extra 10ozs my doctor is recommending. I am having blood sugar issues and I dont fully understand what that means. I'm lost. Sorry I dont want to discourage anyone who is new to this. It's really not BAD. I havent had "complications" so to speak. I am just being a baby I guess. But DANGIT this is HARD. It's not easy at all... ok. I'm done PS. Does anyone know if it's worth going to an endocrinologist? or is my system just haywire because of the trauma of the surgery? Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I've talked to quite a lot of women at work who have had this done and every single one is different in her experiences with the surgery and the post op issues. One lady hardly ate at all and did not excercise, because she didn't have the energy to do it. It took her about six months to get regular with her diet and regimen. Another lady has had absolutely not one problem and everything has gone just the way it was supposed to. So don't let one day get you down -- it will happen and when it does just chalk it up to experience. ![]()

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I'm sorry Kenya but this too shall pass. Not sure why you are so hungry. I have not reached that point yet. Maybe just eat whatever you have been eating but spice up a little with seasonings. Maybe it's boredom. I am just grasping at straws because I want to help but heck what do I know. Just hope you have a better tomorrow. Mattie |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Is it near TOM for you? I ask because of the weight gain. You lost last month, right? Maybe this month you are going to retain. Have you eaten a lot of sodium? I am sorry you feel like you do. I totally get it. I don't know what to say about the blood sugar. I had been taking 1500 mg of glucouphage before surgery and I have not had to take it since. I would say go to an endocrinologist. I am going to mine in a few weeks, and they can really look into all of your hormones and such. THey can test and see what your sugar has been the last three months.
