This is probably a stupid question but will I be hungry after I have surgery? I'm on the 2 week liquid diet and I think I could eat a horse right now. Will I be hungry like this after surgery? Or will I not be hungry at all and have to force myself to eat? I've felt that way before but it was when I was taking diet pills, you know, the ones that make you not able to even muster up a bit of spit if you had to. I bought some Sonic ice today because I was so hungry and wanted to chew something so bad.

well.... everyone is different. SOME have hunger post op. SOME dont! SO you wont know for sure but the thing . I was one who was always hungry uggggh!

I still don't have much of an appetite at 3 months out. Most of what I have is the "head hunger" that people have talked about. Gosh, you're getting soooo close now!!!!!!

I wasn't hungry at all after surgery for the first 6-8 months...then my appetite came back. Some refer to it as the "honeymoon phase", I loved it and the weight came off so nicely.
