Hi guys. I just had a quick question. As I stated before I am almost one year out, and I sincerely think that this surgery has changed my life and I am glad I did it. My question is...... Has anyone felt like I have some days and get so frustrated with having to eat a certain amout of one thing and having to take vitamins, etc. I don't regret the surgery 29 days out of 30, but that one day is really depressing. Please tell me I am not alone. |

Ty for that. I know some people would prolly say quite your griping, but it is a major change in life. I knew this going in, but some days you are really shown just how much a change it is. I guess I'm feeling a bit depressed today. Btw. I know you and I have the same problem about not eating enough some days, and you are still early out, but have you had a day where you just can't get enough to eat yet? I have had one, but of course with the new stomach I can't eat what my mind and body are saying I am craving. It's an amazingly weird change. |

I'm with you 100% I am frustrated EVERY DAY because I hate to take vitamins. It's just a pet peeve, but it irritates me. Yes, sometimes I am frustrated because I don't eat enough and I just can't eat any more, blah blah. But overall I am thrilled to death over what is happening in my life, the many positive changes.

I agree ladies. Some days are tougher than others. I do think that maybe some more insight into teh phych part of all this would be good for people before the surgery. Some days its all a mind game I feel. My phch appoitment was about 15 minutes and it was questions that the woman read from a script. I dont regret my surgery either. Very happy with the way things are going but some days it is a battle, whether its food, water, vitamins or cravings or whatever. I agree with you all. |

AMEN!! I knew it was going to be like this, just thought the weight loss in itself would make these days go away. Guess I am normal.
