Egg size or golf ball size. That's how your pouch is usually described. As for normal stomachs, it can hold up to 2 quarts. With the pouch, the most it eventually can hold is about 5-6 oz.

Oh, and about your small bites, you have to remember that your pouch is smaller than your mouthful. So, if you take a big bite, a mouthful, you're gonna be in trouble!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Thank doc. Makes alot of sense when we do take too much of a biteful. Get that yuck feeling. And egg and golf ball size, very interesting.

Part of my problem is that I love to cook and am good at it if I may say so myself. I know my family is already asking if I will still bake for them after my surgery. Pumpkin Bread and Pumpkin Pie, Apple pie ect... And well I live around Amish country so I have tons of recipes. I have been looking through them to see how I can adapt some of them to my new diet. Down the line when I get to this I will post some of them on the site. I wonder how I am going to do that with stuff like chicken pot pie..mm...lol.. where there is a will there is a way right ??

i guess further out you can have anything in moderation of course. but in the beginning, i can faithfully say you wont even crave or want that stuff. or maybe i should say you might not want it. everyone is different. BUT i do think the one thing that remains the same is that everyone has said their tastes have changed dramatically. i guess we;ll have to wait and see, right?
