Question Forgetting to eat

I have a question about this. I have been forgetting. I KNOW!!!! DONT YELL AT ME...but by the time i remember, which could very well be the following day, it just sits VERY heavy in my gutts. anybody else experience this?

If/ when this happends, should i start with shakes and then work up to solids or what? I only ask because its a little uncomfortable...

I too forget to eat. I think I live on yogurt. Yeaterday I ate a yogurt in the morning and forgot to eat all day and had another before going to bed. I just do not have an appetite, and I know that I should be eating better. But with school starting, soccer practices, dog days of summer, there is no structure to my days.

I have been better abut my vitamins though. I can now swallow pills okay, so I don't have to chew those nasty caramel Citricals. I can swallow two of the petite pills.

I have just been so exhausted lately, I am sure that not eating right and not sleeping good is starting to wear on me. I see my doc on Tuesday, hopefully he will do some labs. How often do you have labs done?

OMG Kenya remember when I posted about my 1st dumping? That was because I forgot to eat and then drank a milk based protein shake when I remembered not a good thing for me. I would go back on clear liquids for the day after. Thats just me though

schedule...can't say it enough..use an alarm if you're at work and are forgetting. Set one up on the computer in outlook or something.

Once we have the surgery we just don't have the luxury of going back to old ways which one of is...eating once a day..every 2-3 hrs is best.

schedule schedule schedule... we can't eat when we 'feel' like it anymore. I certainly can't..my glucose drops dramatically when I do that and when I do eat at the beyond 4 hr mark I do so with the knowledge I'll more than likely vomit some of it. I don't get that 'hungry' signal I could go a loooong time without food and not really care.

yeah, i know there are rules. and i appreciate everyones concern regarding the not eating. i am aware that meals should be scheduled, however they just werent. it came and went. i know what to do for today...im just curious if anyone has experinced the "hard hitting affect" of resuming eating again.

thanks for the advice but i guess my concern is whether or not this feeling is "normal" under the circumstance, or not? or have i "hurt" myself?

I wish I could forget eating..but if I don't eat something every 2-3 hours I feel yucky!! Its funny though I will be straving and then get the food in front of me and be so full so fast. Yesterday was straving and didn't have time to take my normal lunch hour so I went and picked up a personal pan pizza the the gas station near my office and I ate the topping off of it and a little bit of crust less than a 1/4 of a piece of crust and was completely fool.

only thing i find is if im truly hungry for a meal ly
