I am trying to stock up for when I come home from surgery, protein vitamines etc... Just wondering if anyone has tried Nectar Protein. I saw it on the estore, anyone had any experience with it. and also is it better to get flavored protein powers or unflavored? Will be greatful for any input.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

i havent tried the nectar stuff but to be honest, you should save your money and wait til after surgery to try things. what you may taste and like now, you most probably will not like post-op. i made a HUGE mistake ordering cases of stuff i ended up throwing away.

you can order samples from some of these sites. some are free and some are low cost. it's better to do that rather than buy a huge tub of something. this stuff is NOT cheap! lol. good luck

Kenya I know from the posts on here, not to buy too much because my taste will change so much. I do need to get something to get started with when I come home then progress to full liquids, do you have any suggestions.

i was told to start with isopure low carb vanilla. it was very easy on my stomach early out. i have since changed but it worked for me early on. its a little expensive. i got it at gnc. you could also try Welcome to the UNJURY Homepage they sell sample packets of their protein which is a lot smoother than anything i have used to date. but with unjury you could get a packet of whiever flavor you want to try as opposed to an entire container. hope that helps.

It helps alot than you. don't mind me tomorrow is two weeks and I feel like I did when I had my kids. You know the nesting thing. Yesterday I went out to find protein and vitamins, tonight I stripped the refrigerator amd cleaned the hell out of it. Just trying to get everything ready. You advice on her is so wonderful I read all of your posts. Thanks again.

awww dont worry about it. we all went thru it to some degree. the nesting and stuff is soooo normal. i think i scrubbed the baseboards in my entire apt before i went into the hospital and now im thinking...FOR WHAT?? lol. you'll sit back and laugh about this all a month from now. its just nerves you'll be fine.

you ask whatever questions you need to to feel comfortable. no one minds answering.
