yes ma'am. i think the food would actually have to mix with your stomach acids too. if you are getting stuck in your chest then now that i think about it, i dont think it would damage anything. sorry!

Well early out you got to be gentle on your pouch it takes a long time for that staple line to heal!!! BUT i doubt you have hurt it. JUSt be sure your surgeon is aware of the frequency of your throwing up. ITS important....

Well, you could damage the esophagus with acid reflux, but no the pouch itself, unless there's major stress on the staple lines.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | ugg.. When I was in my teens I did the bulimia thing for awhile. And throwing up is hard on your mouth and throat and your teeth. I used to brush all the time just because I had to hide the fact I was doing that. But down the line I found I was lucky that I did because I know others who had tooth problems from so much vomit. I hope I don't have as much vomiting after my surg. It is kinda scary for me. I don't do it often I have to be pretty sick.. But it brings back some bad memories.
