Aww, (((((HUGS))))))
I'm sorry you are going through this, but the only way I can think of, of quickly getting the air out is have a drain inserted and have the air suctioned out much the way it is done with pneumothorax (lung collapse due to a hole in the lung). Which, I am sure, is not what you'd like. Other than that, you will have to ride it out until most of the air is absorbed by the tissues, which takes time.

I wasn't able to sleep lying down until I was about 3-4 mos post op. But then I also had OPEN rny surgery. Which was part of the problem. It takes time for the insides to heal and outside heals quicker..
I still sleep with a ton of pillows, thankfully I don't share a bed with anyone so I don't have to worry about the complaints of "so many darn pillows" and just prop up or around..which is about all I can suggest..
time...it helps with everything.

Edie - have you tried a heating pad/hot water bottle on your tummy?
I know it helps some people with gas problems post surgery. Anything is worth trying....Hugs.
