Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Does anyone else have sensitive teeth since surgery? My bottom teeth are so sensitive lately, like they all ache or something. My teeth are in good shape and I go to the dentist every six months, so I know it isn't cavities or anything. Today even my jaw is aching, It is not just one or two teeth, it is all of my lower teeth. I guess I will call the dentist in the morning and see what he thinks.

| Super Moderator | Are you getting enough calcium in? It may be due to loss of calcium. Or, the sensitivity may be due to sensitive nerves, which may be a result of low VB12, as it is essential, not only in absorbing iron, but for keeping nerve cells intact, too.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | hmmmmmm i wonder if your body needs more calcium?? I know I was low on calcium and Vitamin D for a while. My doc has me on a once a week pill of vitamin D. i also know at the begining I was taking my calcium pills wrong. I was not taking them with food so they said it most likely wanst absorbing much at all. I have since switched and now take them with food. |
