Question Baby Spoon Question

OK here is one question that has been bugging me. Talk about needing a life right..lol OK here goes
You guys say you use a baby spoon and so does my paperwork in my book from the weight loss center. But my question is..Are you using a infant spoon that you would start feeding cereal to a little baby or are you using a toddler type spoon. I have a bunch from my little one that are toddler sized with a plastic coating but I guess I was wondering if that is even small enough????? What do you guys use and what has worked best for you at first and down the line..

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

personally I never used one..but lol sometimes a small baby size fork!

part of the idea of using one is to remind yourself that bites should be SMALL.

i used the infant one when i first came home, for the jello and cream of wheat and what not. i then graduated to the toddler one when i started eating meats. i only used it because sometimes i would forget and take a bite bigger than i should and would wind up in trouble with "the lump" it's really a preference thing, or you dont have to use one at all so long as you remember you cannot fill your mouth like you do pre-op.

I bought some fancy shrimp forks and fancy little desert spoons (they have a french name, I can't pronouce or spell). They are silver with gold on the handles. I figure if I am going baby size, I would do it with class and pamper myself. Found them at Tuesday morning. It really helps me keep my bites smalls. I didn't like using the plastic baby stuff.

Thanks guys.. I guess I will have to see what works for me.. I do think I will be better off using something at first just till I get in the habit of smaller bites. I think I may do what Kenya did and use the infant one at first. I think on of my biggest fears is I will forget and take a huge bite or swig of something and hurt myself..lol I am good at that.. I also like the baby dish idea I have a ton of those things around here too..

HAHAA. funny story about the HUGE SWIG. i did that. and i got the lump in my throat. it was uncomfortable for sure. the funny thing is after once, my throat wouldnt "let me" swallow a gulp again. it automatically breaks it up into small sips if i fill my mouth with too much fluids...wierd huh? lol!~

The body is a strange and wonderful thing that is for sure. It does things you would never expect it to.
