Default Wow!

Greetings Everyone!

Last night I got a call from the hospital where I am having my surgery. They told me to start clear liquids, not eat anything, & be at the hosiptal tomorrow am @ 6:30 for surgery. Evidently there was a cancellation.

Ok, so now that zero hour is here I'm petrified. Got the shakes, "quesey" stomach, the whole nine yards. I've been waiting for this for years but now question my sanity. I read about you folks who seem to be doing well. As your date got closer did you ever question whether you should really go through with the surgery?

Thanks for listening.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

So being you will are new and will soon be on the losers bench - would you be soo kind as to fill out your info so we know more abou you

Now that is pretty cool that you just got in - holy smokes I would be crappin my pants too but DO NOT FRET! I had about 3 weeks to prepare and as time got closer I was a bit nervous but only because I didnt want to die. I was so sure of this surgery, relaxed and comfortable with it that I knew I made the right choice. I would have to say it is completely normal to get worried - this is a MAJOR surgery but......do not worry. If you want it - go for it girl but if there is doubt figure out what the doubt is and deal with it. Find answers to questions - whatever it takes to make you comfortable beause once its done its done. I am only 10 days out and have had great success so far. I am feeling great, no pain, no complications - it is soo weird. Just trust yourself

Good luck with the surgery and cant wait to see you on the Losers Bench!

YEAH!!! Congrats Midge!!! Yours has come a lot faster than mine did, but the anxiety was there! At least you dont have weeks to plan and think about it. I am so excited for you...we will have that seat awaiting your return. Good luck tomorrow and I hope that you have a speedy recovery. This board is going to become your Best Friend at that point! Honey, It is perfectly normal to be excited, nervous etc. Just remind yourself why you are doing this and how your life will change (for the best). In the morning when you get up stretch and go see your doctor. Soon you will be on the losers bench and loving it! Keep your head up!!!!
