Default My oh my what is this girl gonna do!

Oh goodness - let me tell you I am freakin here! So...I had to begin my vitamins today and because I need to suck it up I gave up on the thought of getting liquid multivitamin and I gave up on the thought of the chewable calcium - all because I can NOT stand the grit.

Sooo this morning I took my multi - gagged on it but figured tonight might be better - I have yet to take it. I found this Cinnemon flavored calcium...thinking mmmm that would be good. I just ate one and yes I gagged at first but I couldnt handle how HOT it was. The cinnemon was soo flippin hot I had to drink somethingso it would go down. I am scared I am gonna hit a wall with my supplements and I CAN NOT do that! I told my husband before (when I was looking for liquid and chewables) that I need to just suck it up but I honestly do not think I can. I mean....CRAP that shit is gross! EEEEKS - so I have a mission to be on again! Has anyone seen the Chewables lately? I know they are far and few from what I found before. I just thought they were spendier then I wanted to spend so I just kept telling myself to SUCK IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry for the venting....

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

i used centrum liquid and chewables my first few months (until i coulsnt take the taste anymore) i found them in my supermarket. they have chewables in the store on here. the bariatric ones tend to be more pricey. i say if your doc says its ok stick with stpre brand stuff since you will be buying it for the rest of your life....this stuff adds up

I do the Flintstone complete - two with breakfast and two with dinner - they are nothing to write home about but I can tolerate them - Ithink after 3 months I go to the Centrum chewables but I have this big bottle so will finish them all before looking for anything new - I take the tums right now for the calcium can't remember what they told me to take after 3 months. Hang in there you can take pills before too long I think after 12 or so weeks.

Do a web search on Bariatric Advantage vitamins. These are formulated for patients like us. The calcium is citrate, which is what my nut told me we HAD to have (others won't absorb). They have chewable multi vitamins and calcium. I do the wild cherry calcium, and while it's gritty, it's FULL of flavor...kinda like sweet tarts! I usually have a sip of water after to rinse out the grit!

I take Flinstone complete only I do one in the morning and one in the evening. The Citrate chewables are very good and they are the type we can absorb. I have recently gone back to the horse pills for calcium because my tummy can tolerate them and I was always forgetting the others because in the summer I had to keep them in the fridge.

I also take chewable vitamins. Flinstones, chewable vit c, calcium citrate chocolate chews and b-12 under the tongue. i think it is all gross. but its not as bad as haveing to crush and disolve 4 different horse pills at night. Precsription meds are the worst

If you have a Whole Foods Market where you are I have found good supplements there. I like the Flintstones gummies, they are the only ones that don't make me gag, and I have tried a lot of multis so far.
