Question Would it be so bad???

If i never ate food again; for nutrients, would that be so bad? medically speaking, would it be harmful to me in anyway? I mean if I wanted to eat because i was going out, or for "fun" that would be different than getting in my protein.....what if i just drank shakes forever to get in my protein? i could have 3 shakes a day which would be 25g of protein and would count towards 48 ozs towards my fluids; and consider anything solid recreational...LOL! im being serious though. has anyone else considered this?

I was just thinking and thought I would do it out loud.

PS. you can tell me if im nuts. i wont take offense

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

i use unjury unflavored, hersheys lite, and 1% milk. YUM. it took me 5 months to figure out this combination and YES i LOVE it. LOL. sometimes i sub hood calorie countdown for the chocolately effect. i like it. WAY BETTER than the isopure. i also use the unjury chicken soup flavor A LOT. i dont mind drinking it. "food" just kinda sucks LOL.

...and just think, if you drank everything there would be no 30 minute wait to eat after drinking LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Girl you are nuts but I would like to join you!! I have days where I seriously think I have become bulemic and would just be better off if I never had to eat again. I have friends at work who watch my every move and if I don't take care of myself they are all there making sure I do. You eat like you know you need to and so will I. Keep thinking out load and see if the rest of us aren't right there with you.

Kenya its funny you are thinking out loud today because I have been thinking the exact same thing. I am hating food right now and today so far have had 2 shakes and probably gonna have another for dinner. I have found I like the EAS RTD chocolate, they taste like choco milk and arent thick like most drinks

I,m with you Kenya! Personally, I live on Yogurt, cottage cheese and SF fudgesicles. Nothing sounds good to me anymore either and it is a PIA to fix something only to eat a couple of bites. The only other thing I have found that I like and tolerate is swedish meatballs. So, no you are not nuts, the thought crosses my mind too!

Edie I am just not in the mood for food today. I dont know why I just cant even bring myself to eat anything. So I am making sure I get my protein and my liquid by drinking the shakes. I have had 3 EAS shakes that makes for 96 grams of protein and 33 oz of liquid, plus I have drank about 48 oz of water today. Maybe tomorrow will be better. I have a freezer full of Boca and Morning Star stuff

Unfortunately, I'll have to answer yes to this Q.
You see, the very act of chewing, for instance, is a stimulus to our brains, not only in terms of digestion, but also in terms of brain function in general, thought process and all. Also, the process of digesting food, breaking down the food into various chemical ingredients, processing and building what our body needs in term of maintaining plays a very important part in keeping us healthy.
If you took the needed nutrients in forms of supplements, which, incidentally is a form of processed food, your body function will deteriorate in many areas, leading to the deterioration of the body itself.
