I'm fortunate that I have well water and it's not bothering me at all. If you are really desparate I would suggest distilled water - they strain everything out of it - but people usually complain about it being so flat and tasteless.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Oh my gosh, pre-op I LOVED distilled water!!!! I always loved that "metal" taste. I wonder if I like it now?

Hi, I went thru what you are going to and it is frustrating, I tied different things ice chips, vitamin water, fiji and everyday it was just some thing else keep trying things and hopefully soon you will find the right combo. For me at this point it is plain tepid tap water......for now.

Part of the reason for the taste inconsistency may be due to the ketones released during the fast losing phase. Fat is metaboloized into ketones among other things, and that can make your sense of taste weird. There was another thread about some post ops experiening "wierd" breath that was due to ketone breath. The ketone aftertaste can interfere with your tasting things *normal*ly. Once your weight stabilizes, the tastes should stabilize.
