Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  The difference between Feeling & Seeing I took new pictures of myself today and uploaded them.  I know I "feel" better and I "feel" thinner and I "feel" healthier but when I look at my own pictures I don't "see" it as much as my husband or other people do.  I guess its going to take a while yet until I'm really thinner to make me realize its happening. I look at everyone else's pictures and say WOW! But when I look at my own -- I just don't see it as much? Anyone else have those feelings???  |

By the way...I think you look fantastic....you look uncomfortable in your "old" pics, and your features are much softer and relaxed now...I see a big difference! |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I felt the way you do about myself Jill, people say they see it but I really don't, and I was thinking, the weight is coming off all over, not just in the areas that I really would like to see gone right away, and I am always focusing on these areas when I look at myself and then feel discouraged. I was lying in bed last nite thinking "Will I really lose that much?" I still am not convinced that this is going to work for me, I have been huge for so long I can't even imagine not being anymore.
