Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Okay, I admit it, I'm having a dickens of a time getting all my "water" in. Now I do get enough liquid in with the protein shakes, coffee and ice tea, but some days its just barely there. I start drinking first thing in the morning and keep sipping all day long, but it never seems like I get quite enough. How are you all doing on your water intake? |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | its tough but you will get there. soon you will be able to drink more at once and it will get easier. i am sure you are doing fine with what you are getting in. y dr told me early out to focus on it and that there was NO WAY he would expect me to get in all 64 ozs but that was the goal. if you werent getting in enough you would know for sure. you wouldnt feel good at all. been there too! LOL! |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I'm the same way. I can't get all mine in either. I try but its hard. I always worry about dehydrating but I think my body would give me some type of sign.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | If Your Urine Is Dark Then That Is One Sign Of Dehydration. Your Urine Should Be Very Light In Color If You Drink Well. As Everyone Has Said It Does Get Easier To Drink. I Actually Dont Have To Sip Like I Used To Anymore Which Allows Me To Drink More. I Can Drink A Whole Mouth Full, Which Is A Few Gulps. But In The Begining It Was Real Hard To Get It All In. |

| Super Moderator | If your total is good, don't worry about how much you get in of what. As you go along the way, you'll find that its all easier to do.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | It's a wonder I don't have gills!!! Ever since the HALITOSIS thing, I drink between 75 to 100 ounces of water a day! We have a Ozarka cooler at work and I just keep filling up the bottle! This is on top of morning coffee! I spend more time in the bathroom than I do at my desk! |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Im with Kath. I spend more time in the bathroom at work than my desk I think. I too drink quite a bit now. I am probably up to anywhers from 80 to 100 oz's a day. coffee in the am, protien shake, lots of water and etc....It does get easier. I do remember in the begining not being able to get hardly anything in. I just carry a small water bottle around with me everywhere. And I get it in. hang in there it does get easier. |
