Hi Girls,
I'm trying to drink water all the day, maybe >1 liter.

But I wonder if any has the same symptoms; I feel my eye so dry, my eyelid scratches my eye ball everytime I blink. The other day when I argued with hubby and wanted to use every women's weapon boohoo "the glorious tears" I was shocked that I cannot cry!!!! no tears at all!!

My skin also very dry, I'm using skin moisturizer but still so dry :~(

Does the amount of water vary with respect to body weight?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Chuppy, part of the dryness of your skin would be from losing fat for weight loss. However, 1 liter per day seems to be a little low, considering you need to make your daily water intake goal 2liters, when you are on solid food. The in-out balance of daily water is around 2 liters. Of that, approximately just over half is from the food we ingest, but with WLS, your food intake is severly limited, so you will have to consciously get the water in that you would normaly get from your food, added to the liquids you would take in a normal day as liquids per se.
Keep in mind, about 60% of the adult human body is fluids, mainly water solutions of various chemical substances, and that you need to keep that level for health.

I am having dry eyes and dry skin too Chuppy, you are not alone. I am constantly applying lotion. I think that part of my dry eyes may be allergy related, but I don't know for sure. Good luck with eveything, and I am also having a hard time keeping my fluids under check, but that is something I will be talking about with the doctor wednesday.

Question

ME TOO!!

I'm also not getting in my water....I don't know how I am going to correct this....
I've alway - always been sooooooo bad at drinking water...
The one think that saved me is that I could "CHUG" a huge water bottle if I saw I was behind....

Any suggestions anyone???? I don't wanna loose my hair!!!

OK here is my trick
I freeze 4 (1/2 liter mineral water bottles), and I carry the bottle where ever I go. Sip the water no matter whether I'm thirsty or not. And because the water was frozen it stays with me cold until it finishes.

I'm trying to enhance my water intake step by step, now I'm taking 1 1/2 liter. Doc said because I'm working out I should take more than 2 liters a day. 3 liters or more. Water doesn't hurt you know!

Keep in mind, while some people do well with cold water, there are those who find that warmer liquids are easier to drink. So, if any of you find that you can't drink cold water, it's worth the try to see if you can drink warm or hot water or warm/hot liquids better.

I have this weird thing happen when I eat or drink anything cold....
Is that what you are talking about??

I just NEVER think about drinking...and am frustrated - by the time I think about it - or see that my teetee is too dark....it's nearly the end of the day!!!
Soooo frustrating...

DEB find something you like
and sip sip sip between meals
u have to and it helps speed
up weight loss.
ANY drink counts in your hydration!
drink sugar free kool aide, crystal light i love the new
flavors ruby red grapefuit or strawberry tangerine, drink
diet snapple apple, drink propel, plain water, protein
shakes, carb countdown chocolate milk and shake it up.
I did find i went thru phases of finding something i liked
then drinking it till i hated it ....i am very picky but over
the months had phases with many flavors. JUST had to
keep the drinking going. I know its another reason i have lost
steadily! GO shoppin and try the sugar free drinks to find something
u can get in, that u want to get in will make it that much easier.

ALL the best, i found early post op sipping egg drop soup was nice for me,
or lo sodium chicken broth....!
ALL counts as ur liquids!
HUGS!
